Thank you Grandmaster Melikset Khachiyan.
It looks like "playing" with Shulman is about as much fun as "fighting" with the Russian Army. LOL.
Very nice. Extremely instructive. Great tactical points as well. Thank you Melik!!
AMAZING opening! its my new one!
Very instructive,i enjoyed it,ty Melik!
Comforting that even GMs can miscalculate. But I'd have preferred an explanation of how Shulman managed to play so well in time pressure, rather than just a demonstration that he did so.
a bit long, got lost in there
As usual I find it instructive, fascinating and entertaining to have a glimpse at what goes on in the mind of a GM, stratigically and tactically, during the course of a game full of complex positions and ideas. Thank you Melik.
Thanks once again Melik; great game, and video:)
Yuri Shulman is good.
nice move dude
Nice commentary on such a complicated game. Many thanks.
really good game, and interesting opening! Thank you Melik I think you've inspired me to this opening.

Grandmaster Melik Khachiyan reviews another epic USCL Match for us this weekend! Here we see his own game against GM Yuri Shulman, and although Melik was not the victor in this this battle, his team won the war that night against the St. Louis Arch-Bishops! This particular struggle against Yuri is highly instructive, with stellar play from both players. Shulman's ability to keep a cool head and calculate accurately (Rc5 was a nice shot!!) is nothing short of amazing...
