Thank you Grandmaster Dejan Bojkov.
A nice display of maneuvering the rooks against black's 2 isolated pawns.
Thank You, BK
Again and again and again, GM Dejan Bojkov, you help all of us to be better chess players. Thank you again. Keep them coming. I'm already waiting for the next great video lesson, as I'm sure many others are.
Great video; the Thomas-Alekhine game is one of my favorites, and the analysis of it makes the other two examples easy to understand. Thank you, GM Bojkov.
And this is what I was taught for-to teach other people how to improve on their chess
Unfortunately, or fotunately, it depends on my mood- it is all result of a hard work, something that everyone can do
Agreed, great stuff. Thank you and I hope there are more similar lectures to come.
Awesome!!!!! GM Bojkov.
I have often wondered why I have an advantage with half open files. This gives me some ideas how to exploit it.
You understand positions so seemingly easily. Were you born with this, or did years of hard work get you there?
Excellent lecture once again!
very good lesson
Nice lecture....simple and good!
Another excellent instructional video.! Practical lessons that one can apply to
their own games.
by GM Dejan Bojkov
Today GM Bojkov reviews three practical game examples, displaying the art of using the rooks positionally. Specifically you will learn to strangle an opponent's "hanging" and/or "isolated" pawns on the open and semi-open files. Watch as former World Champions such as Alekhine and Spassky provide great material on this topic. Improve your positional technique today!
