some chess clubs are obviously more intense than others.
Funny parody, lol. It's not as far from the truth of how many chess players actually are, and at all levels of the game. Even at the Super GM level there has historically been rampant substance abuse and ocassional physical violence.
Just a couple of weeks ago some 2700 players were fined for drunkeness during the Russian team championships.
There's ANOTHER 4 minutes and 46 seconds of my life I can never get back! When will I learn????
