Bobby was such a nice young man. Just so sad to think about what could have been had he not disappeared from the chess scene in 1972. He was only 29 and could have continued playing right through the eighties.

Could Kasparov have taken him?.. Now no-one will ever know.

So sad.

Yes, young fischer looked full of life, and pretty normal. Then something happened that turned him into Mr. Hyde...not too sure what, but what a waste of talent...what could have been...

Well Jesterville, I agree. Some bellieve he developed schitzophrania; however, we will never know seeing as he thought that rather than having to pay the phychaitrist, the phychaitrist should have to pay him.

     Fischer was very bright appearing.  He seemed like he could go much further.
