the position was brilliant,but,

in the following position 

 

 

 

 

 

 

why didn't white move 

g4??!? this would pressurize the king to move away from g6!!!

after that, white can place his bishop on g6, preventing the folk!!!

now, if black tries to play Ba5 then white can move his king to e7!!

this would promote the pawn......
