Hello my name is Jacob. I’ve been playing competitive chess since January of 2020, and teaching chess for one year. I am entirely self-taught, so I know a lot of the common struggles that people face on their chess improvement journey.

I work with players between 100-1800 and my approach as a teacher is to analyze your games and to figure out your strengths and weaknesses. From there lessons will be focused on improving both your weaknesses and strengths. After lessons I will provide you homework and a study plan.

My rate is $10 per lesson (one hour) and I offer a free trial lesson, so you make sure I’d be a good fit as a teacher for you.

Lessons will be held on either Discord, Whatsapp, or Microsoft Teams (whichever you prefer).
