Hi, I'm Ted Wang, a FIDE Master and passionate chess player excited to help others improve their game.
Whether you're just getting started or already have tournament experience, I’d love to work with you. I have some prior experience coaching younger kids. I’m committed to helping you grow as a player and reach your chess goals. Though I am younger, I still understand what it is like to be at a chess plateau and I know strategies to get out of it. Also, I play games on a frequent basis so I could show my students some ideas and my thinking process.

My plan is to do a HALF OFF trial lesson. In this lesson, I will do some tactics with the student and play a training game to understand their weaknesses and strengths. Then, we can create a plan for how we want to improve that student's game.
