General Update/Independence Day Weekend Availability

Hi, everyone!

I'm going to post the 4th of july part first cause I want to ensure you read it . One of our matches would be scheduled for the weekend of July 4th (Independence Day), which falls on a Saturday. I do not expect fireworks to be going off at noon our time, but I do understand there is still a chance some of you will not be available. Here's the deal... I would like to have a match on 4th of July (or we could do Friday, July 3rd I guess), but if I can't get 10 players to commit to a match then, I will simply request a bye for that round. So please comment here whether or not you can make it to a match on 4th of July. If you are about to go to your keyboard to type "Daniel, we should just request a bye", I understand that, BUT, at the 1% chance I can get 10 players guaranteed for 4th of July at noon, it will be game on. But if not, no worries there on my end.

So as a general update, we are at 1 win, 3 losses (for the team), and unfortunately, our only win came as a forfeit victory. But, we can change that this coming weekend! As usual, I will post details for our next match as soon as they come out. And remember, I'm still giving away prizes to three players who I see to be the most loyal teammates. Factors to receive one will include frequent participation, overall encouragement to the team, not giving up on us because we're losing, and if you can't make it to a match, letting me know in advance. It's not too late to start playing in matches and receiving one.
