LCPAL Gold Cup 3rd Place Match this SATURDAY!

USChess has a big slate of matches this weekend, including a Pan American Live Chess League playoff match and a pair of Live Chess World League matches!

On Saturday, October 24th, starting at 7:55 am Pacific, 10:55 am Eastern, we will take on Team Romania in a pair of blitz and rapid matches in the Live Chess World League. Romania has struggled this season, so these two matches will be big opportunities for us to walk away with two wins. Match times and links:

- Live Chess World League R7 Rapid: vs Romania, October 24 at 8:35am Pacific, 11:35am Eastern
Later in the day, on Saturday, October 24th, at 6 pm Pacific, 9 pm Eastern, we will face Costa Rica in the LCPAL Gold Cup 3rd Place Match! Costa Rica are a formidable opponent (we split this season's pair of regular season matches against them) but we are the favorites in this matchup. Match time and link here:
We'll end the weekend with a LCPAL Rapid Cup match vs Team Venezuela on Sunday, October 25th, at 6 pm Pacific, 9 pm Eastern. We'll be the overwhelming favorites in this match! Match time and link:
