Unexpected!

I made a tournament called, 1st Bangladeshi Knockout. I was expecting for only Bangladeshis to join it, but no one from Bangladesh joined and peoples from other countries joined.It was really unexpected.Don't you think? And please give me some tips to not let it happen again.
