November 23 will mark the 55th anniversary of the airing of the first Doctor Who episode, An Unearthly Child! Also known as 100,000 B.C., it starred William Hartnel as the first Doctorand Carole Ann Ford as his granddaughter Susan Foreman as well as Jacqueline Hill and William Russell as Coal Hill School teachers Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton.
