I love math and Chess. Therefore, this little puzzle is appropriate (and accurate in 2017):

Currently, I have been playing Chess for 2/3 of my life. 3 years ago, I had been playing Chess for 3/5 of my life. If, once I started playing Chess, I haven't stopped, then how old am I, and for how long have I been playing Chess?

(Note: please do not post the answer to my puzzle in the comments. You may PM me the answer if you want to, though, in order to see if you solved it.)

Roughly speaking, I got my name from One Night Ultimate Werewolf. It's a great game that is now my all-time favorite.

If you have heard of One Night Ultimate Werewolf, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, you might have heard of Mafia, or perhaps Ultimate Werewolf. If you don't know what any of them are, look them up on Wikipedia. They are simple games to understand, but more complicated to play, which is part of the fun: simple rules with a complex interaction of those rules.

One Night Ultimate Werewolf is like Mafia and Ultimate Werewolf, except faster, since it's only ONE night. There are also many more special roles that do something at night. The game ends with one lynching, with either the werewolves (the mafia's replacement) losing a member (and thus losing the game), or the villagers losing a member (and losing the game). I got my name because, although the werewolves are in the minority (1/3 in a 3-player game), I drew a werewolf card about 2/3 of the time! When I introduced a card called Insomniac, one of the people I was playing with said, “That’s me!” because they suffered from insomnia. I asked which card I was, and they said, "You're the Werewolf!" And I've used the nickname ever since. happy.png
