I am 47 year old FIDE master living in Serbia.I am playing chess for more then 35 years. I'm a participant of many open and berger tournaments in the countries of former Yugoslavia, with varying success. I regularly play at team championships in Serbia since 1989, and as a rule, I have achieved my best results. I am a member of ŠK Metalac from Gornji Milanovac who competes in the First League of Central Serbia.
People say practice makes perfect to mean that if you practice something enough, you will eventually be able to do it perfectly.
I think that anyone who wants to make progress in chess needs to know basic positions and be ready to recognize them in practice. The tactic is relatively easy to solve, there are many bases and books about it, it's enough to be constant and regularly exercise them. In my opinion special emphasis should be placed on practicing the chess endgames through the training session, or if we practice a certain position from the opening, practicing exercise through the training games and afterwards analyzing the games.
If you like to have sparring partner for slow or rapid games it can be me at a very reasonable price!
