As a player, I became a GM at the age of 16. Three times Russian Junior champion, winner of the World Open, Chicago Open, North American open, Mid America open, Philadelphia International, and many others.
As a coach, I have been working with a wide range of players from 1600 to 2600+.
Notable names include two times American Closed Junior champion and one of the youngest GM in the world Awonder Liang, the US national team member Anna Sharevich, Peruvian Olympic team leader Emilio Cordova,World U18 silver medalist Sasha Konovalenko.
I believe that my background as a student is as much valuable as my coaching experience.Besides being a student at Webster chess program led by the legendary Susan Polgar, I've also attended lots of lectures of the greatest coaches such as Mark Dvoretsky and Evgeny Bareev. That experience has helped me in developing an understanding of how a chessplayer should grow.
