Been a member since 2013! 7 years. Actually think I won a trophy on here in a tournament once somehow. I used to be better at chess and in January of 2015 I had an accident, broken neck, that affected my memory. Been a Big fan of Hikaru and Magnus for a long time and watched them frequently. One of my favorite books is written by Sasha Chapin "All the Wrong Moves" and favorite quote lately from Hikaru "I forgot how to chess."

Learned some chess moves around 45 years ago but never really played until the late 90's. Managed to win against the original dos Chess Master and later played on the Chess Master in game internet version against others and was rated at 628 so my screen name is CL-600.

My favorite feature on this site is showing the accuracy. I'm able to get up in the 90's and most of the time when I'm losing lately it's my own fault. That's what I'm working on so hopefully I can get consistent enough to raise my rating a little rather than losing from my own mistakes. Some games are better than others and I'm re-learning.
