I have been a professional chess coach since 2013, guiding players from complete beginners to advanced and expert competitors. My coaching programs are tailored to meet each student’s goals—whether they wish to enjoy chess as a fun, stress-free hobby or compete at the highest level with an intense, performance-driven training plan.

A hallmark of my coaching is helping players break through barriers. When a student feels “stuck” and unable to improve, I design a highly personalized program to reignite their progress, sharpen their skills, and push them beyond their limits.

I currently serve as Head Coach of the Mapúa University Chess Team, leading both the Seniors and Juniors divisions, and take pride in developing not only strong chess players, but also disciplined, strategic thinkers who excel beyond the board.
