Notice: I have recently experienced multiple negative comments during both rated and unrated games, win or lose. I ask that you keep your opinions to yourself. I am here to play chess and find friends, and maybe make someone sad into someone happy. I am NOT here to be falsely accused of sandbagging, cheating, or told to quit chess forever, or that I am a loser.

If you want to say you are better than me, that is most likely true. Unless you are lower rated than me. Just because you beat me once doesn’t me you’re better. If that’s how it works, then Fabiano Caruana could still be considered the best player ever (Sinquefield 2014 reference). If you really are better, let us play Classical or Daily. If you beat me then, you only have me congratulations and good wishes on your future rated games.

If you say rude things, it shows a lot about you, whether that be lack of social skills or major insecurity (or you are tilted often). If you do want to channel your emotions into something productive, I have advice. Play good moves, and let your pieces do the talking.

Chess is known for expressing almost every part of life, so why not use it to demonstrate how you feel?
