Hello, I’m @Minerva_Umbridge. Formally known by many names, but you can call me Minerva or McGonagal. I have been on CC for 1 ½ years now, and it’s been a rough, rigid, and rocky place as far as trolls, “friends”, and clubs go. I thought that having all of those things brought meaning, and helping people was the best way to go. Turns out, when you try to help people, you compromise all that you stand for in the hassle. I’m not saying “don’t help people”, I’m saying balance how you help people. You don’t have to help someone, and automatically be qualified to be their friend. Sometimes you don’t need to be friends with the people you help. Help them and get on with your life, and repeat. Don’t allow people to pressure you into any positions, membership, or friend requests, and vice versa. As I said, just because you helped someone doesn’t mean you are obligated to friend them, join their club, or friend their friends.

When I began working at Hogwarts High School🏰, I learned the value of teamwork, working out differences, choices, and actual fun on this site. It was not because of Harry Potter. I’m not even a fan of Harry Potter, as you can imagine. It’s just that its unfathomable and immeasurable qualities make it appealing to me. It teaches you the value of true friends, love, and gives a glimmer and hope to those who see none. I’m a Christian, and I don’t have to like the darkness in it if I don’t want to. The key is to pick what you want to see in the books and movies, if you ever plan to watch or read them. My true glimmer of hope was when I finally started to see the light in the darkness. Looking through the darkness and branching off to see reality is what really befuddled me. For the first time in my life, I finally felt free, looking at something with a different point of view, instead of listening to what other people said about it, who had never seen it at all, but judged books and movies by their cover. Being obstinate will get you nowhere in life, and neither will being ambiguous. You choose what you want to, and stick with it. Clarity is a priceless thing. When things are clear and plain, that’s when we make sense and make a choice. Clarity about something isn’t judging a book by its cover; clarity about a situation, thing, or choice is knowing what to look for and seeing multiple sides of the equation before coming to a resolution. Clarity is knowing the difference between right and wrong, reality and fantasy, and sanity and insanity. If you know the difference between them all, you’re free.

When I resorted to one club that has an interconnected network, since it’s a series of places in the book and movie series of Harry Potter, I felt happier. Getting out of miggling and messing with other clubs, I began to see the important things, and where and who your real friends are. I never mistook a fake friend for a real friend ever again, because I withdrew myself from 50 club positions, 1000 friends, and fame, to be with the real friends I knew I had, and maybe it wasn’t too late to show them that I’m loyal to the core. It’s never too late to start over, unless you burned your bridges with your friends and made yourself a lot of enemies. You can’t start over with something you lost, so now you’re going to have to make something new for yourself. Don’t promise you’re always gonna be there for someone, because you aren’t. You’re going to fail them sometime, so tell them this instead: “I may not always be there for you, but I’m your friend, and when I am here, don’t hesitate to call on me.” When you say you’re always going to be there, people take that for granted and start leaving you out, because you’re the friend that’s always there waiting on them, as they have some to perceive. So don’t let that happen to you. That’s how you lose friends, not gain them. Choose wisely and live freely. When I say live freely, I don’t mean party, race cars on the street, or do whatever you want. What I mean is that when you live wisely and think about what choice you make, it can have a greater impact on your life than a choice someone makes for you. We must always remember to think before we speak, listen before we act, and acknowledge our mistakes before pointing out someone else’s. The Bible speaks clearly about all of these things, and if you apply them to your life, your life will change immensely. That’s enough proof that the Bible is real to me. And Jesus is our Lord and Savior, because He taught these exact things, and made a better life if we choose to follow and listen to Him. I did give you a basic overview of what the Bible teaches about the Christian walk and the guiding footsteps to get you on a path of living for Him.

Our Lord made us; we disobeyed what He told us not to do, and we ended up with different languages, peoples, and views, all because we disobeyed. There are distorted views, mixed views, and right views, but what I’ve seen is how all of them prove the existence of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit comes and lives in us when we choose to let Him after we get saved. He has given me the discernment to see all of these things I’ve disclosed now, and that everyone has a story that can’t be taken away. Our God gives us a fresh start with our story after we think we’ve messed it up. Good or bad, what you’ve experienced, learned, thought, and suffered is what makes you who you are, saved or unsaved. Saved means repenting of our sins and admitting to God that we’ve done wrong in His eyes, and letting Him start changing our lives when we allow Him in them. He did come to this earth as fully man and God. He suffered what we do suffer, yet without wrongdoing in His Father’s eyes, which is sin. God is the Father, Jesus is the Son, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. They are three in one. One God in three, and they were always there since the beginning of time and before. It’s hard to explain, but the way I see the trinity is that they are united in each other, being God, the Son of God, and the Spirit of God. They are three in one unified bond. They didn’t create each other, but created us, so that we might die, and live with them forever. Since we sinned against the law of God, we needed a sacrifice, and a big one to pay our debt. So Jesus came to earth and lived a sinless life, walked among us, died, and resurrected 3 days later, so that our debt we owe is paid, and now all we have to do is repent ( Feel remorse about our wrongdoings and turn completely around the other way), and make Jesus the Lord and Savior of our lives.

That was a comprehensive view into my journey and how you can overcome many things that I’ve gone through before you make the same mistake as well.
