My name here is RC Woods, I've been playing chess here since about 2008. It's been a bit of an on-and-off thing but at least in the background it has always been there.

When I joined this site I designed some background themes, among which 'Metal Chess'. However such custom themes no longer exist on the site.

I played some correspondence games, but my main interest on this site used to be live standard games (15|10). I later picked up (5|5).

Now after a long long hiatus (literally a decade) I picked up a bit of bullet (but I'm rusty for real). Still I'm actually considering returning to OTB Chess. It remains a magnificent game.
