My name is Kyle Potter and I'm 15. I learnt to play chess from my mother and uncle when I was 9 and ever since I have played with family, recently I have been searching for more opponents which lead me to find this site which I personally think is amazing.

Since becoming a member of this site I have learnt new opens and different variations on openings and am currently trying to learn variations to the 1..d4 and 1..e4 opening. I am also trying to learn when to go from the opening to the mid-game and then to the endgame.

My current favourite opening is 1..e4, running into a simple trap;
