USCF Game 8(W): Kindred-Cowles

In game 8 which is the fourth round of my U1600 in 96 my opponent is Richard Cowles who came in rated 1500 although was previously rated as high as 1691. Perhaps he was over-confident seeing my measly 1009 or un-nerved at the fact I was 45 minutes late, but I managed to get a victory here, which was my highest rated victory for many years, although next tournament I am playing in an U1700. I played blitz style through the opening and slowed down once I caught up to pace.
