Road to the Grandmaster title | June IM round 1 | O'Donnell-Turzo | Slav Sacrifice

I started to day with running. My daughter joined me with her bicycle. It was the 120th day!

After that we went to a farm where she was riding a horse.

Last day I slept only 5.5 hours it was a negative record. I enjoyed to study and read, I forgot about time in the night.

In the first round of the tourney I played with the young FIDE Master Conor O'Donnell from Ireland.

He played the Qc2 line against the Slav defense. I captured it and played Bf5 to prepare e6 and normal development.

In the middlegame he missed a piece sacrifice which gave me a big advantage. 

I allowed him to prevent the total domination, but when we exchanges the queens the endgame was very good for me:
