Road to the Grandmaster title - Victories over Grandmasters in the 02.17.2021. Titled Tuesday
In the 02.16.2021 Titled Tuesday I played with 2 Grandmaster and I won against both of them. In the final round in an already better position I trapped my opponent's queen.
I played with the Turkish Grandmaster Burak Firat:
A few rounds earlier I played against the Young German Grandmaster Dennis Wagner.
I played the London system. He played an early Nh5 and captured my g3 bishop. We both abandoned castling. I played agressive chess, sacrificed a pawn which was not correct, but later got counterplay and several winning positions. In the endgame I won an important pawn and was able to win the game:
