I've been hearing a lot of people lately mention the fact that they study chess scenarios, etc etc. Moves or positions from what other people do. Myself I prefered playing blitz / normal games and going from there. Why should I pay a grand master to teach me years of experience he or she only has because they've played that long. Some people have natural ability in an area such as chess, sports, a specific work career, and some don't. Everyone's abilities vary in what they do. Which pretty much makes IQ tests inadequate, but that's another topic. So I do things my way, I play my games, learn from my mistakes, and I don't have to pay an arm and a leg to have a grand master go over my game with me. I can go over my game with myself. From all our fallacies the willing in us learn and adapt, we are human, we must if we shall survive. When cavemen first got mauled by sabertooth tigers, do you think they constantly tried to run away. Not at all eventually they made spears from animal bones / hard sticks. It's called adaptation. Learn as you go, you can do it yourself, believe in yourself.
