Important Examples for White in the Yugoslav Attack

Hey all,

The Sicilian Dragon (1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 g6) is a popular opening at the club and even master level, so anyone willing to tussle in the Open Sicilian needs to be prepared to take it head on.  I personally live for the sharp Yugoslav attack, where White plays a quick h4 and often employs the pawn sacrifice on h5 to open lines against Black's King.  Below are some illustrative games where White slays the Dragon with thematic Yugoslav play.

A game against one of Black other 9th move tries.

And the legendary Fischer-Larsen game.
Keep these games in mind when you go to tackle the Dragon!
