LIVE Blitz Chess Commentary #312: Polish Defense Deferred
This is a blitz chess game I played as white with time control 3|2. The opening was the Polish Defense Deferred. Black's second move looks to kill two birds with one stone, namely prepare to fianchetto the queen bishop and prevent a white c4/d4 pawn duo. This comes at a loss of time however as a tempo can be gained against the exposed b-pawn. Come middlegame, a big question needs to be asked by one side, "To play within a certain pawn structure, or change it"?
