U.S. Class Championship

A couple weeks ago I went to Texas for the first time. Now that I live in Baton Rouge instead of Pittsburgh, Texas is only a few hours away. I did not get to see much of Houston so exploring Texas more will have to wait until another trip. I played in the Class A section (1800-1999) and I played up each round. I choose to play in the 2 day section, which unlike most weekend 5 round tournaments, did not shorten the time control for the Saturday morning round. All five rounds were G/90 i30.

Round 1

Round 2

Round 3

Round 4

Round 5

Overall I was happy with how I played. In addition I went 6/7 in the U1800 blitz tournament, only losing to the guy who beat me in round 2 of the actual tournament. Feel free to leave any comments or suggestions, thanks for reading!
