Super and Not-So Super Rooks - Can You Tell the Difference?
Hi Chess Friends,
I played a game online recently that ended with a straightforward stalemate trick. On closer inspection I realized that the draw wasn't there, and white has a narrow path to victory. I'm going to present four positions, all of which feature one side with a significant material advantage. Your job is to determine which positions allow succesful stalemate motifs, and which are winning for the stronger side. If you're intersted, please post your analysis and I'll take a look.
