Journey of a Patzer

Hi Friends!! Recently i took part in the first rated tourney of my life "GTC Chess Classic" , really had an awesome experience and got to learn so much about chess. It was an international event and players from neighbouring nation were seen in few numbers. we played two games a day, each with a time control of 90 mins + 30 sec increment from the first move. I was lucky enough to face 9 rated player out of 10 games i played and scored 5.5 points. After going down against 1862 rated opponent i managed to win some over rated players with rating of 1547,1489,1346 and 1678 respectively. My only draw was against a rated player 1479. I will love to share my games to you all. By earning few points i achieved an international fide rating of 1579  and got the best unrated award.
