In an effort to stretch my understanding of tactical and positional considerations during a game, and also to indentify the specific holes in my understanding, Im going to try to annotate a game by players obviously way above my level.
In this exercise, I hope to try to understand why they make the moves they do. When I fail to reach such an understanding, which I think will be often, I will have identified a point at which my understanding needs to be built upon.
If anyone would like to critique my annotation, I would absolutely apreciate it. I can't come close to understanding the thinking of these players, but by having my errors pointed out to me, I hope to understand my own thinking a little better.
