Planning in Blitz Chess

You have 1 minute on your clock.  What would you play in the following position?

While Qxa1 is playable, from the game continuation you can see that it isn't easy.  With 20. f5 I was opening lines to activate my pieces, which I felt was by far the most important factor in the position.  I didn't anticipate Qxd4 and Qxa1; I just knew with Black's king so exposed and so many of my pieces developed, I had to open lines at any cost.

On the other hand, my opponent was making excellent short-term plans but didn't feel the danger in the position and was quickly overwhelmed (as was I!) by the tactical complications.  Were I Black, even if I knew Qxa1 was objectively best, I would have played the cowardly O-O-O even if I had to give up a pawn or two.  Without further ado, here's my full analysis:
