Delhi Dynamite vs. Mumbai Movers has been dubbed as the Great Indian Clash in PRO Chess League. For the first time ever, it featured top 3 Indian players in action. Going into the match, Delhi Dynamite had a strong team line up consisting of GM Pentala Harikrishna, GM Abhijeet Gupta, IM Tania Sachdev and IM Hemant Sharma.

After the first round, the Movers had the upperhand—as Dynamite scored unpleasant 1.5/4. The trend continued in the second round where Dynamite could only muster up 1.5/4 points. However, there was a 360° flip on the scoreboard during the third round.

GM Abhijeet Gupta held GM Viswanathan Anand to a draw. GM Harikrishna defeated GM Vidit Gujrathi in a stunning manner. IM Hemant Sharma delivered an ultimate upset after beating GM Diptayan Ghosh. This boosted the score to 3.0/4.

As the final round approached, Dynamite needed only 2 points to win the match whereas Movers had to aim for 2.5 points. The round was a make-or-break for both the teams. But after early draws on boards three and four, the high-rated Movers began to regain their composure. They continued to press on board two to clinch the match point.
