Ok not used to doing any blogs and never done chess blogs before.  If you want to see if there is luck in chess follow these game coords.

It was a rather challenging game where I playing white made plenty of mistakes and was near the end I saw an opportunity to move my pawn up one trapping the king's escape.  I moved my rook down and just waited (rather hoped) that my opponent would make one mistake or not put me in check.  Once he misplaced his bishop I moved in for the checkmate.  This is my first game on chess.com and I was playing an opponent who was tenacious and aggresive.  I don't know if anyone cares to play the game out or not but I figured I would put it out there in any case.
