B14 Caro-Kann, Panov-Botvinnik attack, 5..e6 - A game in the Portsmouth & District leagure 2016/2017
This was an interesting game for me in that I indentified and executed a 'proper' simple plan. My opponent had an isolated Queen's pawn early on, so I gained control of the square in front and the attacked it.
My major mistake as missing the fact that I agreed a draw despite having a winning position! My only excuse was that I had only 10 minutes to the time control and would then have only had another 15 minutes to finish.
