Big announcement for Chess players! 

I'll be hosting and streaming an Online Blitz Chess MONEY tournament next Sunday 5th April (1pm AEST; 3am UTC) on Chess.com. The tournament is open to ANY chess players globally and will be a good opportunity to stay connected while we're all isolated.

The prize fund is $300 dollars split by the following;

1st - $125
2nd - $75
3rd - $50

Biggest upset (by FIDE rating) - $25
Best Junior - $25

U1700 prize - One hour of free online coaching from Jack Rodgers Chess awarded to one randomly selected participant below 1700 FIDE.

- Entries must be paid and accepted no later than 5 April 10am AEDT

- Upon payment, players must request to join the tournament club to be able to play. Tournament Club Link: bit.ly/OnlineChessMoneyTournamentClub

- Information for joining the tournament in Live Chess will be detailed in the club page in the days leading up to the event.

- Players must provide their (FIDE) ID and full name in the entry form.

- Player payment will be made in AUD via Paypal.

- Prize fund may grow depending on entries. Chess.com tiebreaks will be used to determine prize winners (no prizes will be shared).

- No responsibility is taken by the organisers for players who disconnect, this is an unfortunate reality of online chess and a stable internet connection is advised.

- The decision is final by the tournament organiser on all disputes relating to the event.

- All games will be subject to Chess.com's anti-cheating measures. Any player found to be breaking Chess.com rules will ineligible for prizes, be banned from any future events, and submitted to Chess.com for removal.

- Prizes will be paid once anti-cheating measures are taken.
