Hi everyone...Two days ago as Istanbul University representatives we attended a tournament where the score for team was determined with the sum of three high scorers of the university...Time control was 45 min with 30 seconds increment per move.I managed to become the second best player in individual class and we came 3rd in the tournament with 13,5 points while the second team (Istanbul Technical University) was 0,5 higher than us.The first team (Yeditepe University) got 15,5 points when the tournament finished.

Here are my games...

Game 1 was played on 27th board...I was black...

Game 2..I was white at board 10 and got a decent position but went wrong at some points...Black returned the favor by allowing white to play 21.f3!....Here is the game.

Game 3...Last game of the day...On board 7...I really felt I was playing a real chess game...The opponent was  a member of the team which came first...So by winning the game, we gained +2 point advantage...

13th April Game 4...Playing as white on board 4...

Game 5...I really enjoyed that game...Playing as black on board 2, we played sicilian Pelikan/Sveshnikov variation.Having got a strong knight on e5 could not be challenged by white's bishop, I just kept tension by sneaky queen moves which provoked mistakes...

Game 6...Last game on board 1...Playing Benko Gambit I faced unfamiliar continuation...Managing to set up the desired pawn structure,I went wrong somewhere...I lost the game.My opponent Irmak became first in individual class...
