Week 4 Chess Poem: Queen's Chess
Here is the poem for week 4. I hope you like it.
(Week 4): Queen's Chess
If life was a Play of Chess,
with you being my Blanche,
I would be your Eleanor.
Why would we live for nothing less
than whispering love
and amore?
If life was a Play of Chess,
we'd live each of these Louis XIV rooks.
Guarded by brave and dodgy knights,
however, loyal and discrete
We'd be safe and secure,
every day, all nights.
If life was a Play of Chess,
loyal bishops and an army of pawns
would assist us — every single day.
We'd redefine Royalty, more or less,
By serving the planet and its people with our talents.
Just by being mademoiselles — in every way.
If life was a Play of Chess,
I want you to be my Blanche
so I could be your Eleanor
We'd live for the benefit of all people, nothing less
with whispering love
and amore.
