Costly Error: Missed Opportunity

A couple months ago in my second round of a quad, I got this position.  White just played 35.Bb5, offering to trade Bishops.  I've got about 4 minutes on my clock.  What should I do?

I declined the Bishop trade with ..Bb7 and the gamed ended up in a draw.  So I lost half a point on the scoreboard, and that cost me about 35 rating points.
Now, why did I miss this chance?  The answer isn't really complicated.  That problem was just above me. I might have spent 15 minutes on that move and never found the idea.  When I looked at trading Bishops, I only saw that White's King penetrated on the kingside faster than I could counter on the queenside.  The stunning 2..c4!! changes everything.  Let's take a closer look at why it works.
Lesson learned?   Maybe, and maybe not.  Now that I've studied this, I know better, but next time this kind of thing comes up, will I do better?   This we will know in the fullness of time.
