GFE Christmas Special ft Gingerbread

"Ayo lady and gentlemen...." - BTS Dope.

Wassup? Got another recipe for ya. We are going to do gingerbreads. You can waste your time and make little men and women or creatures or you could be like me and just make circles...both are fine and welcomed!

3 1/2 cups of flour

1/4 cup of butter

1/2 cups of white or light brown sugar

1/2 cup of dark molasses

1 tsp of soda

1 tsp of ginger (optional)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp cloves

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cups of water

The How To:

Whip the butter and sugar together until creamy. Add in the molasses.

In another bowl combine flour, salt, cloves, (ginger), cinnamon, and salt.

*Shifting the flour will allow your dough to have a more fluffier texture. It is not needed however.*

Divide the flour mixture into three or so parts. Slowly add in each of the parts to the sugar, butter, molasses mixture alternating with some water.

*You want the dough to be somewhat moist but not soggy...just add in a little bit of water whenever you see the batter becoming too thick.*

Once mixed, place batter on to a floured surface and roll out your dough. Cut into any shape you want and place it on a baking sheet.

Bake at 350° for 8 minutes (you may have to do it longer if your cookies are thick). Serve with icing or plain. Enjoy!

Thanks for reading....I will post an icing recipe hopefully soon.
