Hello everyone! As you know it is the holiday season and especially for Christmas we need something sweet. Today we are going to do oatmeal cookies. Now I've said this often but this isn't the only way to make stuff. Go out and experiment. Try other recipes and such...speaking of recipes this one comes from Betty Crocker.

Ingredients

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup of granulated sugar-whitish sugar

1/2 cup Packed brown sugar

1/2 cup of soft butter. You can split this with 1/4 butter and 1/4 margarine...butter is better tasting....

1 1/2 cups of regular oatmeal

1 flour

Optional 1 cup of raisins or nuts...I didn't use any but you can.

How to

Mix all ingredients together except for flour, oats and raisins/nuts.

Once finished mixing....add in the last three...

Make into little balls and space them up to two inches apart.

Bake at 350 for 10 mins or until golden brown. Let sit...don't touch them or they'll break...if you see their gooey but brown don't worry...they'll harden up soon.

Enjoy with coffee or milk!!!
