GFE ft Stuffing [A Thanksgiving Special] (E)
Hey guys! I made this post a bit late but I was semi busy...sorry bout that...So today I decided to share with you a stuffing recipe. I would have shared more from Thanksgiving but I didn't cook much....mom did most of the work. I was able to do stuffing and sweet potatoes (next post) so let's get to it!
Stuffing is super easy...well this recipes is...you could make this anytime of the year (you can obviously tell that I'm a stuffing fan). You can also add in other vegetables and whatnot if you want.
Ingredients: Support organic farming...no GMO and other stuff like that.
A package of premade stuffing-you can make your own but this is faster
5 tablespoons of butter
1 cup onion
1 cup celery
(I felt that the stuffing needed more onion and celery but you can change the amounts to fit your taste...you can also add in herbs...didn't on mine but be creative!)
2 cups of chicken broth (you can use vegetable if you're a vegetarian, chicken bullion will work as a substitute...make sure to read the instructions to convert)
The How To:
Melt all of that butter. Chuck in your onion, celery and other stuff. Stir. Cook until tender firm....not mushy but enough to be soft...
Pour in your brother and let it boil.
Once it boils, turn off the stove and pour in your stuffing mix. Stir so that it can get all the juices. Don't worry if it looks like there isn't enough juice. For extra flavor add left over meat juice.
Serve warm or cold. Both are good. Enjoy!
