This is my newest piece.
Of course it is of little interest here, having nothing to do with chess. It relates to a painting by Kandinsky, Composition 8.
It would not surprise me if Kandinsky played chess. Arguably, if my music can associate to another art, painting, it can also associate to chess. In fact I have preliminary notes on music, a set of variations, which is linked to chess openings. But I would like to have a profounder understanding of chess before writing them, and that is a major task, as I am not managing to raise my bullet rating much above 1300 for long at a time. I believe for a deep understanding of chess there is an argument for being good in all the varieties offered at this website.
