Grand Pacific Open, Round 1

I'm playing my first tournament in over a year, and it's a good one: the Grand Pacific Open in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. My rating still hasn't made it over 1900, but I paid extra to play in the Premier section instead of the U2000 so I could play FIDE-rated games against strong opponents. In Round 1 I had the black pieces against a solid expert (USCF 2045), Mike Murray of Washington state. Here's the game.

I was pretty happy with this result. I'm still waiting for my first tournament win against an expert, but I'm happy to take a draw with Black.
