CHESS DEVELOPMENT CRITERIA

 

 

1st.) Move centre Pawns (d + e Pawns) just to get both Bishops out.

 

2nd.) Develop your kNights towards the centre (e4+d4+e5+d5)...

 

3rd.) Place your Bishops in most active squares... either pinning or towards the centre...

 

4th.) Castle as soon as possible to get the King in safety!

 

5th.) Link the Queen to the most active Bishop...

 

6th.) Place both Rooks supporting centre Pawns (d + e Pawns).

 

7th.) Start attacking plan once all major pieces are developed!!

 

8th.) Remeber that pushing supported Pawns allows you to gain space!

 

9th.) Direct attacks should be with 3 pieces minimum...

 

10th.) Do not exchange pieces with no reason;  instead, create menaces

 

 

 

GENERAL IDEAS

 

-        PLAY YOUR STRONGEST ALWAYS

-        MINIMUM GAME TIME SHOUL BE 15 MINUTES

-        ALWAYS SHAKE HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER THE GAME

-        IF YOU ARE PLAYING ONLINE, DO NOT USE A COMPUTER!

-        WHEN YOU PLAY FOR A TEAM, TEAM RESULT IS YOUR RESULT!!

-        ALWAYS FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE TEAM'S CAPTAIN.

-        DO TRY TO FOLLOW TRAINER'S CRITERIA AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

-        DO FEEL PROUD TO REPRESENT YOUR TEAM AND YOUR CLUB

-        ASK THE TRAINER OR THE CAPTAIN WHAT YOU DO NOT UNDERTAND!!

-        FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS AND HELP OTHERS...
