This you don't see much at chess events. My team mate plays a move and presses his clock, then realizes his junior opponent has a knight fork which ends the game. He tries to undo the move and the junior, correctly, objects. My team mate insists and a mother walks over saying she saw the whole thing and the move was completed. Case closed.
My team mate loses it, knocks over the pieces, stands up and covers the poor kid in a steady stream of expletives, most of them starting with the letter f. The lady quickly hustles the kid out of the room. I can't believe my ears. Who does this at a chess league match? As Captain I have to waste time apologizing. Unreal.
