A summer of chess

Finally, school is over and I have plenty of time to spend! I already got bored of doing nothing yesterday, so it is time for a chess improvement schedule.

I'll be waking up at 7:00 AM and after getting ready I will read "My System" with my chess board out. This will last from ~7:30 AM - 9:00 AM.

Next, I will read some of "Silman's Complete Endgame Course" from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Then for 30 minutes after that I will set up some endgames on lichess and play against the computer, mostly doing whatever I covered in "Silman's Complete Endgame Course" for that particular day.

I will be playing 45/45 and 90/30 games weekly against stronger players and I'll be posting the analysis in a weekly blog. For this week I will just post a few of my rather poor games I recently played:

And here is my much worse second game:

As you can see, my endgame isn't the best. I missed an easy pin, but that was just from a quick 10 second move. It is nothing that doing tactics would have helped with. Endgames always seem to be biting back at me now. Anyways, thanks for reading and now begins a summer of improvement!
