A puzzling puzzle...and remembering

Since my next tournament isn't for 3 weeks, I figured I should get in the habit of posting here regularly.

A couple weeks ago, I started working with a stronger player on reviewing my games because I figured I could use all the help I could get. I'm not sure if that's going to work out yet but it's off to an...interesting start.

He gave me the position below, White to move and draw. I thought, no problem, I'm pretty fair at endgames and I have tons of practice trying to save lost games. And then I started looking at the position:

As it turns out, there isn't any move that saves it for White. Stumped, I gave up on it and as we looked at the problem again last night, he put the Black king on h6! What a difference that one square makes. After that, the solution is fairly trivial:
I've never been very good at puzzles but I don't think I'll ever forget the one below that someone showed me about 20 years ago (thanks Ed!). I cannot remember if I solved it back then and looking at it now, it seems a lot easier than the puzzles that I get in tactics trainer.
Well, that's all for today. Thank you for reading!
