Our Gravity Experiment
Yesterday we were testing gravity. We used a tape measure 2/2 meters to test it, to get the answer
we have to use mathematical equation.
d=ut+1/2 at2
d= Distance
u=velocity of the start .½
t=Time
a=acceleration
t=Time
2=Squared
]}O v (ball)
]} v (2/5) meters
]} v (door)
]}_______chair
You need a stop watch
To do this
When the ball hit the ground
stop the stop watch and write
the time that the ball hit the
ground .
we have to get rid of the big
numbers and small numbers
and we have the average numbers left.
d = ut + 0.5 a t 2
2.5 = 0 x.7 + ½ ax. 72
2.5 = O + ½ a x. 49
2.5 /.49 = ½ a
5.102 = ½ a
5.102 = .5 x a
5.1.05/.5 = 10.21
this isn't the accurat answer
but i'll find the right answer now
ok i loked it up my figer is 10.21
but the real answer is 9.8
bye!
