Astonishing games pt 1

Modern form of chess dates back to 1475 in Italy, Spain and Southern Europe. Many brilliant and astonoshing games have been played since then. In the 1st and 2nd part I will give a couple of games which are best known for there combinations which amaeturs fail to see. I am starting from the 17th century and 18th centuries. The following is one of earliest chess games recorded:
Balck had thought that after exf5 he would get a pwn and a rook and ruin blacks castling but he had not reckoned that Greco would come up with a brilliant combination and would enforce a checkmate. Next blog I will enhance the 18th century games.
