Glorius Games Part 2: How I beat RookSacrifice, an active RARer and ALMOST expert

RookSacrifice did a rook sacrifice. Two, actually, in the game we played against each other.

So, I had nothing to do in my life, as usual, so I decided to just play some blitz chess on the Live Chess server of Chess.com. Usually, when I go on Live Chess, I go to the friends' tab to see if any of my friends are on and not playing so I could play them. Well, when I went on, @RookSacrifice was the only one meeting the criteria. So, I challenged the big guy. I did think a lot about it since he's a freaking expert and I was on the road to 1600( My USCF is 1870ish) on blitz, but whatever.

Still can't believe it. I went from down alot of COMPENSATION to up 2 rooks.

Lessons:

1. When you're down comp, try to make as many threats as possible.

2. Play openings you know.

3.Follow the 5 opening rules:

1. Develop your pieces ASAP

2. Make your king safe ASAP( CASTLE)

3. Try not to move your queen out too early.

4. Try to not move your pieces twice.

5. Control the Center.

1,2, and 5 being the most important.

SO,

Have a nice life,

PEACE OUT,
